Who we are

Liberdom is a non-profit organization established in 2008 registered in the National Register of Associations, Group 1, Section 1, National number 595.596. Liberdom is a trademark registered before the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office under number 2.909.025

According to its statutes, the Liberdom main objective is to promote human development through the promotion of entrepreneurship in developing countries by strengthening the institutional framework, in general, and freedom and good governance, in particular.

Liberdom argues that without the creativity, initiative and innovative nature of entrepreneurship, growth and progress is impossible whatever institutional framework and the endowment of factors of production.

Therefore, Liberdom is founded with the following specific objectives:

  • To contribute to poverty reduction and human development in the world;
  • To encourage individual initiative, enterprise and entrepreneurship as a source of prosperity;
  • To claim the right to entrepreneurship as a human right;
  • To defende freedoms –economic, civil and political- and alert about cases of infringement of them in the world;
  • To claim the role of good governance, efficient regulation and public policy in economic and human development and promote volunteerism in this field among the public servants;
  • To promote corporate responsibility and adherence to the principles of the UN Global Compact;
  • To contribute to institutional strengthening and the professionalism of the public administration as sources of incentives for entrepreneurship.
